Celebrating the Success of the Education Mission to Colombia

We are thrilled to share more updates on the recent Study Melbourne #EducationMission to #LatinAmerica! The mission, spearheaded by the Victorian Government Trade and Investment Office, Latin America, alongside the Study Melbourne team, brought together senior delegates from six of Victoria’s world-class universities: Monash University, Swinburne University of Technology, RMIT University, Australian Catholic University, Deakin University, and Torrens University Australia.

A Journey of Connection and Collaboration

The program featured visits to #Brazil and #Colombia, two pivotal countries for our international education efforts. Over a series of posts, we will highlight the remarkable connections and collaboration opportunities that emerged during the mission.

Strengthening Victoria’s Global Education Footprint

The mission underscored Victoria and Melbourne’s reputation as global leaders in #education and #innovation. It also highlighted our long-standing engagement and collaboration with counterparts in Colombia and Brazil.

Focus on Colombia

The Colombia leg of the mission involved numerous activities with key education stakeholders, including government agencies, scholarship bodies, and Colombian universities. These engagements opened up significant opportunities to expand and deepen institutional #collaboration.

Insights from the Australian Ambassador to Colombia

Australian Ambassador to Colombia, Anna Chrisp, provided valuable insights and reflections on the mission’s outcomes and the potential for future collaboration. You can learn more from her in this video.
